Volunteer with Us!
We are always looking for folks willing to give their time and expertise. Please check out our ongoing volunteer opportunities below, and sign up for our newsletter to stay updated. Call (919) 590-9023 or email commsadmin@peeweehomes.org to inquire about joining a team or starting a new partnership. We could not do this without our dedicated volunteers!
In 2024, we implemented innovative Resident Support and Care Teams (CSCT). Supervised by Executive Director Quinton Harper and Resident Support Specialist Katina Welch, RSCT volunteers offer companionship, document and resource navigation, and ongoing, caring communication. These amazing people show how Pee Wee Homes cares deeply about building community, living in community, and welcoming to community folks who have experienced homelessness. If you are interested in joining a care team, email katina@peeweehomes.org now!

Our Native Gardens team is responsible for the landscaping and beautification needs of our tiny homes. Volunteers can sign up on a rotating schedule to weed, water, plant, prune, and more for either one-off projects with our staff or solo projects on an individualized schedule. Plus, the plants used and maintained in our gardens are all native species, a project made possible by grant and volunteer funding and planning (showcasing Pee Wee Homes’ dedication to the health of our community’s environment as well as its people!)
Our Quarterly Maintenance team is responsible for the upkeep of our tiny homes, particularly the homes of residents who face mobility challenges. These volunteers work together to do anything from painting to fixing to cleaning to installing, and may occasionally be called on for special or urgent projects and repairs.
